This digital heaven, this virtual dimension of human existence, is just as “real” as the physical reality our bodies experience. William James said that the only terrain of reality is experience; it is not divided into matter and mind, soul and body, idea and sensation. Dualism is not part of the Digisphere. “This” heaven is not an escape or a daydream. It is not a substitute, but rather an expansion. So let’s endow this “synthetic” paradise too with all the attributes of our hysicality, so we can be allowed to experience it with all our five senses: taste it, smell it, feel its warm and cold zones, the windy places and the dead calm. To feel, even in the Beyond, hands stroking you gently and melodies no human ear has ever heard.
